I had a corporate career as European Director for a Fortune 500 company. After years of growth, the market turned and it was time for a major downsizing. I’m a creator by nature and like to see people and companies grow. Downsizing and making people that I had worked with for years redundant was against my nature, extremely painful and stressful. As a leader at that level you are stuck between the executive management group and your team. Nothing you do is ever good enough or can make everyone happy. Statistics actually show that almost half of employees are largely dissatisfied with their work experiences. It shouldn’t be like this. This made me completely shift to follow my passion, helping people overcome stress, burnout and anxiety through coaching and psychotherapy. Marriage, Break-ups, adulatory, dysfunctional and abusive relationships, parenting, being a father, corporate career, burnout, depression, entrepreneur failures, learning and success.

There are several types of stress, including: acute stress. episodic acute stress. chronic stress. Chronic stress is a prolonged and constant feeling of stress that can negatively affect your health if it goes untreated. It can be caused by the everyday pressures of family and work or by traumatic situations. Often you don’t know that you are slowly being boiled, like the story about the boiled frog.
There’s a fine line between stress and anxiety. Both are emotional responses, but stress is typically caused by an external trigger. The trigger can be short-term, such as a work deadline or a fight with a loved one or long-term, such as being unable to work, discrimination, or chronic illness
